Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 20 July 2026
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Recrtr platform at www.recrtr.comand the services we provide through it (the "Services"). The Services are provided by Recrtr Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("Recrtr", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms.
1. The Services
Recrtr provides tools for starting and growing a UK business, including:
- AI-assisted website creation, editing and hosting (including hosting on a yourname.recrtr.com subdomain);
- domain name registration and connection, and email forwarding / hosted mailboxes;
- AI-generated logos, branding and marketing materials;
- the Growth marketing assistant (content drafting, search and analytics integrations);
- UK company formation and related Companies House filings (see section 6).
We may add, change or withdraw features from time to time. Where a change materially reduces a paid feature you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and, if you use the Services on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
3. Fees, billing and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, via our payment provider Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and include VAT where applicable.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial billing periods.
- One-time services (such as company formation and domain registration) are charged at the point of order. Because domain registrations and Companies House filings are executed with third parties immediately, they are non-refundable once submitted.
- If a payment fails and remains unpaid after we notify you, we may suspend or downgrade the Services until payment is made.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload or create with the Services (text, images, logos, site content). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process and display that content solely to provide the Services (for example, publishing your website and generating drafts from your materials). You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to use everything you upload.
Your use of the Services, and any website we host for you, must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content or suspend sites that breach it.
5. AI-generated content
Parts of the Services use artificial intelligence to generate websites, copy, logos and marketing content. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to output generated for others. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing or relying on it, including any legal, regulatory or factual claims it contains. AI-generated content is not legal, financial, tax or professional advice.
6. Company formation services
- Where you use our formation service, we act as your agent to submit incorporation and related filings to Companies House. We are not a law firm or accountancy practice and do not provide legal or tax advice; choosing a company structure is your decision.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide (including officers, shareholders and persons with significant control). Filings rejected because of inaccurate information you supplied are not our responsibility, though we will help you correct and resubmit where we can.
- We may be required to carry out identity and anti-money-laundering checks before submitting filings, and to refuse or unwind a formation where those checks fail.
- Companies House fees are set by Companies House and payable in addition to (or as part of) our stated price.
7. Domains and email
- Domains we register for you are registered in your name where the registry allows; you are the beneficial owner. Registrations are subject to the registry's own terms and annual renewal fees.
- If your subscription lapses, we will not renew domains or maintain email services on your behalf. We will make reasonable efforts to let you transfer your domain out before it expires.
- Free yourname.recrtr.com subdomains remain our property and are provided while you have an active account in good standing.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Services available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Services depend on third-party providers (hosting, DNS, payment, email and AI providers) whose outages are outside our control. We may suspend the Services for maintenance, security or legal reasons.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill; and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
10. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms (including the Acceptable Use Policy) or where we are required to by law. On termination we will unpublish your hosted sites; you should export any content you need before closing your account. We retain data only as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. General
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified by email or in the app, and continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
