Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This policy applies to everything you do with Recrtr: your account, websites we build and host for you (including yourname.recrtr.com subdomains and connected custom domains), email services, and content generated with our AI tools. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
You must not use Recrtr to
- break the law, or promote, facilitate or instruct illegal activity;
- publish content that is defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading — including fake reviews, impersonating another person or business, or misrepresenting who operates a website;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property, confidentiality or privacy rights;
- publish content that is hateful, harassing, or that sexualises or endangers children;
- distribute malware, run phishing pages, or collect credentials or payment details under false pretences;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, whether by email, WhatsApp or contact forms;
- operate services in regulated sectors (for example financial, legal or medical services) without the licences or registrations those sectors require;
- probe, overload or disrupt the platform or other customers' sites, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours;
- resell or white-label the Services without our written agreement.
AI tools
Our AI features may not be used to generate content that would breach this policy if you published it yourself. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before it goes live on your site or in your marketing.
Enforcement
We may remove content, unpublish a site, suspend email sending, or suspend or terminate an account that breaches this policy — without notice where the breach is serious (for example phishing or illegal content), and with notice and a chance to fix it otherwise. Where the law requires, we may also report activity to authorities.
Reporting abuse
To report a website hosted by Recrtr or other misuse of our services, email abuse@recrtr.com with the site address and a description of the problem. We review reports promptly and act where this policy or the law has been breached.
